Handcrafted Libyan Desert Glass pendant elegantly prong set in fine Sterling Silver.
Libyan Desert glass, also called Golden Desert Tektite, is a naturally occurring Tektite or Impact Glass, approximately 29 million years old. Libyan Desert Tektites are only found in the remote desert near Eastern Libya and Western Egypt.
This high-quality pendant features a hand selected 15-30 carat Libyan Desert Glass Tektite, prong set in fine sterling silver. Overall pendant length is about 1.25 to 1.5 inches long (including bale) by .65 inch wide.
Each Libyan Desert Glass Tektite is naturally unique and will differ slightly in shape and color, however each pendant will appear similar to the display images.
