Petalite, also known as castorite, is a member of the feldspathoid mineral group, which belong to Spodumen, Lepidolite and Tourmaline. The rare form of petalite occurs in gemstone quality crystals. Although colourless, glass crystals can create stunning faceted pieces of jewellery.
